Like many people, we’ve gotten lost in the mazy interior of some of Jakarta’s grandest shopping malls.
But thanks to awesome technology, we no longer need to find a directory or ask for directions from a security guard.
Anybody who owns a smartphone is likely to be familiar with Google Maps. Now, the app allows you to view the floor plans of certain buildings.
To access the feature, all you have to do is open Google Maps, go to your desired location and then zoom in until the floor plan appears.
Users are also able to switch between the floors of any of the applicable building, as well as get directions between specific points inside a building.
The feature is currently available at 31 locations in Indonesia. Most of these locations just happen to be shopping malls in Jakarta, which may or may not be an indication of where the capital’s residents like to spend their time.

Indoor Maps is available on the Google Maps app across all devices. However, it was reported on Tribun that the feature is currently only available on Android devices in Indonesia.
