Nasir, a 43-year-old methamphetamine dealer, was understandably in a state of panic when members of the West Jakarta Police Narcotics unit showed up at his house in the Kelurahan Kartini area of Central Jakarta on Wednesday night
So it’s pretty understandable that he was willing to jump out of his house’s attic to try and run from the cops. After all, better broken legs then the death penalty, right?
It didn’t matter at any rate, because as soon as he landed at ground level, Nasir found himself surrounded by more police officers ready to subdue him.
From Nasir’s house, police say they seized 37.3 grams of methamphetamine worth about Rp 80 million. The West Jakarta Police said they were able to catch Nasir thanks to information from a citizen who saw him receive a small package of meth earlier in the evening.
