For a 17-year-old girl the police are identifying as DNS, the end of the National Exam this month should’ve marked a new exciting beginning in her life. Instead, her boyfriend made her life into a living nightmare.
After her last exam on April 15, DNS’ 21-year-old boyfriend L picked her up to live with him at a boarding home in Ciracas, East Jakarta.
“I was told to sleep with him. He often spoke harshly if I didn’t comply,” DNS said at the South Jakarta Police station yesterday, as quoted by Warta Kota.
After living together for four days, L ran out of money. He then sold DNS’ gold necklace and motorcycle.
But then, that money ran out after just four more days. It was then that things got even worse.
L and DNS moved to live in a boarding home in Bogor. There, L sold his girlfriend to a friend for Rp 500,000 for one night.
Afterwards, DNS ran away and reported her boyfriend to the police. A medical exam revealed that she had genitalia injuries from spending time with her boyfriend.
L was arrested at the boarding home in Bogor. He could face up to 15 years in prison for child abuse.
