​Man hangs himself in chicken coop after suffering from chronic gastritis and hernia

Iwan Albajara (43) was found hanging and lifeless inside a chicken coop not far from his house in Cijeruk, Bogor Regency, on Monday.
 
His wife, Cunriah (32), came home from a religious study session at 8:45 am, only to find her husband already dead.
 
“I was shocked when I got home. I searched all over the house and he wasn’t there. And then I went out the back and my husband was hanging inside the chicken coop,” Cunriah told the police yesterday, as quoted by Warta Kota. 
 
Cunriah also told the police that she suspects her husband committed suicide because he has suffered endless bouts of acute gastritis and hernia. He has not been able to work for a long time.
 
“Maybe the victim was stressed because of the endless pain, but maybe also because he couldn’t provide for his wife and children,” said Murdaya, head of the Cijeruk Police Dept.
