Iqbal Dhiafakhri, one-third of the teenage boy band CJR (formerly Coboy Junior), should really get in trouble for driving a motorcycle without a license.
But he’s a celebrity, so we know he’ll somehow get away with it.
Iqbal, 15 years old and not yet eligible for a motorcycle license, decided to take his wheels out for a ride with friends after sahur yesterday.
In relative darkness, Iqbal failed to see an upcoming speed bump and immediately hit the brakes to avoid it.
“When he hit the brakes he suddenly lost control and then fell,” said Iqbal’s manager, Angga, as quoted by Vivanews today.
Iqbal broke his left arm from the fall, which probably means he won’t be able to dance around on stage with his CJR buddies for a while.
Angga denied that Iqbal is some kid of speed junkie who thrilled in street racing. He said Iqbal was only out to have a good time with friends.
Good thing he only hurt himself and nobody else during his little fun seeking. Otherwise we could’ve seen another case of an underage celebrity offspring getting away with going for a drive and accidentally killing people on the road. Ahmad Dhani’s son knows all about that.
