There are 261 whole days still to go in 2016, yet the government has already released the holidays and collective leave schedule for 2017 (we’re not sure what this says about our government – let’s just be positive and assume they’re a proactive bunch).
As reported by JPNN, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, along with her subordinate ministers, yesterday announced that we will have 15 days off for national holidays plus 4 collective leave days off.
Here they are in full:

14 April 2017 (Good Friday)
24 April 2017 (Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad)
1 May 2017 (May Day)

We made a handy calendar for 2016’s public holidays, but we’re only going to make one for 2017 towards the end of the year so you can still focus on the bulk of 2016 we have left. Stay tuned!
