“Scandalous” photo of Abraham Samad and Elvira Devinamira that went viral last month

Many were quick to question the legitimacy of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chief Abraham Samad and Miss Indonesia winner Elvira Devinamira’s scandalous kissing photos that emerged at the start of this latest KPK versus police battle, but it seems there is new proof of a personal relationship between the two. Whether the source of the news is credible, or if he is out to hurt Abraham Samad’s integrity, is still in question.

Supriyansah, a landlord at the Capital Residence apartments in SCBD, South Jakarta, has testified that Abraham and Elvira met up in his apartment.

“They came once,” Supriansyah said as he testified in front of Commision III at the House of Representatives yesterday, as quoted by JPNN. 

He said Abraham asked him to pick up Elvira at the apartment lobby one day.

“She arrived, and I picked her up,” Supriansyah said.

The meeting between the two was brief and Supriansyah was in the same room. But Supriansyah said he left the two on their own when he went to buy them gado-gado.

“I left for around five minutes, and then I came back,” he said.

The meeting happened late in 2014 before Elvira departed for New York on December 26 to take part in the Miss Universe pageant.

Supriansyah’s apartment is apparently Abraham’s favourite spot for secret meetings. Abraham was said to have held several meetings with the acting secretary general of the PDI-P political party, Hasto Kristiyanto, presumably to discuss Abraham’s goal of becoming Joko Widodo’s vice-president.

“There were just less than 10 meetings in my apartment,” Supriansyah said.
This is another “scandal” the KPK chief really doesn’t need right now, especially since he was recently named a suspect for forging legal documents for Feriyani Lim, another woman he allegedly had an affair with.
