Those seeking to ditch their private vehicles for NYE celebrations in Jakarta tonight can turn to the capital’s railway services, all of which are extending their operational hours beyond midnight.
KRL Commuterline, the most popular railway-based people mover in the Greater Jakarta Area, is extending its operational hours until 3am for five of its busiest lines, including Bogor/Depok-Jakarta Kota, Cikarang/Bekasi-Jakarta Kota, and Rangkasbitung/Maja/Parungpanjang-Tanah Abang. The MRT, meanwhile, is extending operational hours until 2:30am. After midnight, however, the headway between trains is scheduled to increase to 12 minutes, up from the usual 5 to 10 minutes. You can view MRT’s NYE schedule below:

LRT Jakarta is extending operational hours until 2am on NYE, and the headway between its trains are scheduled to remain at around 10 minutes throughout.
Those looking to for feeder transportation to and from train stations can also rely on TransJakarta buses, which will have Corridors 1-11 operating for 24 hours. TransJakarta is also extending the operation hours of Route 1F (Palmerah-Bundaran Senayan via Asia Afrika), S12 (BSD-Fatmawati Station), and S31 (Bintaro-Fatmawati Station) until 3am on Jan. 1.
