If you regularly take the KRL Commuterline on these routes, you might want to stay away from the train windows.
Today, PT KCJ, the operators of the KRL Commuterline, revealed the routes on which there have been the most cases of kids throwing stones at trains.
“Almost all of Bogor to Tebet is at risk from stone pelters. Bekasi to Jatinegara as well. We rarely get it in Duri or the western areas though,” said PT KCJ Communications Manager Eva Chairunisa, as quoted by Kompas.
Eva said that stones are still being regularly pelted on these routes, even though PT KCJ has apprehended many of the kids responsible.
“They (the kids) claim they only did it for fun, and then cry when we question them,” she said.
Thankfully, there are no reports of any injuries caused by these stone pelters, though we have seen several cracked windows on KRL Commuterline trains lately.
