CCTV footage showed an unidentified man leading Sintya out of Pusat Grosir Cililitan on Saturday
Sintya Hermawan, the six-year-old girl who was kidnapped from a shopping center in East Jakarta on Saturday afternoon, was brought back to her home early this morning.
CCTV recordings showed Sintya being led out of Pusat Grosir Cililitan by an unidentified man on Saturday afternoon. She had gone to the shopping center’s playground by herself while her parents attended to their mobile phone store located one floor below.
Sintya was apparently found in West Bekasi this morning, but the circumstances of how and who found her have not yet been revealed. The person who found Sintya apparently sent the little girl back to PCG in a taxi. But Sintya, knowing her home address, instead asked the driver to take her directly back to her house
Sintya’s relieved mother, Siti Hermawati, said her daughter arrived at about 6am this morning.
“She still seems cheerful, when she returned she immediately asked for milk. She is now sitting in my lap,” Siti told Detik this morning.
Sisit said she has not yet dared to asked her daughter about where she has been since Saturday or about the unidentified man who kidnapped her, whom police are still looking for.
“I have not dared to ask. Let her calm her mind first,” Siti said.
