Ever felt like directly asking President Joko Widodo anything about issues pertaining to national interest? Well, if you’re aged 13-20, you totally can now.
The president’s office recently launched an AMA-style online event called #JokowiMenjawab (Jokowi answers), in which the nation’s youth can send in videos of themselves asking any question they’d like to the president.

Submissions for questions are open until February 25. There are several criteria that the videos have to meet, such as not exceeding 30 seconds in duration and only including one question per video. Submissions are only open to people aged 13-20.
The questions are to be uploaded to Youtube and sent to President Jokowi’s official Facebook page with the hashtag #JokowiMenjawab. The president will later answer selected questions with his own response videos, which will be uploaded to his Facebook page. It’s not yet known how many questions Jokowi will answer.

On a side note though, we wonder if this event’s name is a veiled dig at the hilarious #SayaBertanya (I am asking) meme, which was inspired by former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s Twitter rant two weeks ago.
