Japanese woman’s suspected murderer caught on CCTV: Police

The police believe they have a suspect in the murder of 28-year-old Japanese woman Yoshimi Nishimura, who was found dead in her apartment in South Jakarta on Monday.

“There’s a CCTV recording [from the apartment building] that we’re analyzing,” said Jakarta Police Spokesman Mohammad Iqbal, as quoted by Vivanews yesterday.

The CCTV footage supposedly showed Yoshimi walking together with a suspicious-looking man in the apartment building lobby.

The police say they already know the man’s identity and are taking steps to arrest the suspect.

Yoshimi was found dead in her 10th floor apartment in the Casa Grande Residence in Tebet, South Jakarta. The police believe that she died two days before she was found on Monday.
