Today is World Emoji Day and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg released some information from the social media giant about the countries that use the most emojis on the site and which emoji is each country’s favorite.
Though many countries were peeved to be left off the list, the ranking only takes into account the nations that use emojis the most.
Since we’re sometimes referred to as the “social media capital of the world”, we’re not surprised Indonesia made it onto the list.
We’re also not surprised by the emoji most frequently utilized by Indonesians on Facebook:

That’s right, it’s the good old “ROFL” (rolling on the floor laughing) emoji, which is really the only reasonable response to so many things that happen in Indonesia…
The other countries that made the prestigious list are: Mexico, the U.S., Brazil, the U.K., Germany, Italy, Thailand, France, and Spain.
