Police in Indonesia have arrested a woman identified as D in East Java for having used online content subscription service OnlyFans to sell pornographic pics and videos of herself.
“Last night in Malang we apprehended [her],” the Jakarta Metro Police’s Special Crimes Unit Chief Auliansyah Lubis said.
At the time of publication, the suspect is being transported to Jakarta for further investigation.
The suspect has skyrocketed in popularity recently, particularly after appearing as a guest on one of the most popular podcasts in Indonesia.
In December, Indonesian police arrested another popular adult content creator affiliated with OnlyFans, after she published an exhibitionism video taken at Yogyakarta’s airport.
OnlyFans is a London-based online platform where content creators can generate income by asking subscribers to pay a certain amount of money to access their personal page. While the site is not exactly entirely a pornographic platform, OnlyFans is particularly popular among sex workers.
Despite Indonesia’s draconian laws prohibiting pornography, there are still a few Indonesians who use the site to share their sexy pictures and videos.
The country’s ambiguous pornography laws have led to the jailing of people over adult content and leaked sex tapes, including celebrities.
