We all have our own rage thresholds, but one Indonesian man in the province of Aceh clearly has some anger management issues.

A 49-year-old man, identified by his initials RW, from the district of Kuta Alam in Banda Aceh has been arrested on suspicion of committing an assault. which allegedly took place in late July. According to the police, RW allegedly assaulted his wife Nurul Husna, big brother Syarifuddin, and sister-in-law Anissa.

On the morning of July 30, RW asked Nurul for her help with putting in a SIM card into his phone. However, Nurul said she wasn’t able to because she wasn’t familiar with RW’s phone, which triggered him to go into a fit of rage. RW allegedly grabbed a piece of brick and threatened to hit Nurul in the head with it.

Hearing a commotion from their house, Syarifuddin and Anissa came and tried to calm RW down. However, RW threw the brick against a wall, which bounced back and hit Anissa’s chest.

RW then took out his nunchucks and hit Syarifuddin in the head three times with it.

“It resulted in the biological brother suffering injuries and bleeding and he was immediately taken to the hospital. Because they couldn’t accept what the suspect had done, the reported him to the police,” Kuta Alam Police Chief Miftahuda Dizha Fezuono said yesterday, as quoted by Serambinews.

Some two months later, RW was arrested on Saturday evening and face charges related to assault, which could see him jailed for up to two years and eight months if convicted.
