Indonesian actor Rizky Nazar has been arrested for alleged drug possession, after the actor was found smoking weed at his home in East Jakarta.
Police have confirmed the actor’s identity in the case, with Jakarta Metro Police’s spokesman Zulpan saying that the 25-year-old was alone when police raided his home yesterday. Authorities seized one gram of the illegal plant as evidence, while Rizky’s urine test also came out positive for marijuana use.
The news appears to have shocked Rizky’s fans across the country, thus catapulting his name to the top of trending topics on Indonesian Twitter. In recent years, Rizky has gained popularity through his roles in a slew of teen romantic comedy flicks, sinetron (Indonesian soap opera), and FTV (film television).
Rizky is the third celebrity arrest for alleged drug use and possession in this past week, after sinetron actors Jeff Smith and Bobby Joseph. Smith was apprehended on Wednesday last week only two months after his release from prison due to possession and use of marijuana, while Joseph’s arrest came two days later.

Zulpan said that Rizky’s case doesn’t have any connections with the previous two.
