The police this morning arrested 21-year-old fugitive Nurtamzi Bayu Kusuma AKA Acil for the murder of his wife.
Acil, who murdered his wife, 19-year-old Citra, last Friday in a boarding house in Pamulang, South Tangerang, was arrested in Central Java.
“He was arrested in Grobongan, Central Java. The motive was jealousy. The victim told the suspect she received a phone call from someone who offered money for sex,” said Jakarta Police Spokesman Muhammad Iqbal, as quoted by Vivanews today.
Acil said he never expected Citra to accept the offer. He became furious and killed his wife at the boarding house.
Acil fled the crime scene and became a fugitive for three days. The police finally managed to track him down and arrest him in the village of Tumunggunan in Grobogan, Central Java.
