We’ve had two musicians arrested for illegal drug use in the past two weeks. While this latest arrest doesn’t directly implicate a musician, it does involve the sister of legendary musician Hetty Koes Endang.
Luzi Nadya Koes Endang (40) was arrested in her home in Ciledug, Tangerang, on Monday afternoon. Police confiscated 2 grams of methamphetamine and a smoking tool from Luzi.
The police said Luzi admitted to procuring the drugs from her source in Kampung Ambon, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
“She got the drugs from a courier. We’re still developing the case to find out who supplied the meth,” said Police Commissioner Juang, head of the Narcotics Unit at the Tangerang Police, as quoted by Warta Kota yesterday.
“The suspect admitted to using meth for around four years. We are investigating this further.”
