If you need catch a flight out of Soekarno-Hatta airport tonight, we recommend you go, like, now.
Apparently, traffic on the toll road leading to the airport is heavily backed up due to a bunch of nails scattered on the road.
Chief Warsinem of the Jakarta Police Traffic Directorate said the nails were wrapped in sacks that were found around the highway at 11:30 am today.
Warsinem and some of his officers happened to be heading to the airport to check the traffic situation when they saw the scattered nails on the road.
“Initially there was a car in front of me who swerved to the left because of the nails,” Warsinem told Tribunnews.
Worried that the nails will cause accident, the police stopped in the middle of the highway and are working on picking up the scattered nails.
