A TikTok video has gone viral showing a cop standing his ground in front of the SUV, which appears to have committed a traffic violation. The Fortuner driver attempted to scare the cop out of the way by gently ramming his car into the traffic enforcer, leading to a tense standoff between the two.

The West Jakarta Metro Police said the incident took place yesterday at an intersection in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. According to the police, the Fortuner driver made an illegal right turn from a straight-only lane before the intersection.
“The driver violated traffic rules and he was reprimanded by a member of the force. But the driver kept rolling his car forward,” West Jakarta Police Traffic Unit Head Maulana Karepesina said today, as quoted by Detik.
Separately, Budiyanto, who headed the Jakarta Metro Police Law Enforcement Sub-Division, said the Fortuner driver’s actions did not only warrant an IDR250K fine for the traffic violation, but also up to one year and four months in prison for the threat of violence against an officer of the law.
The identity of the driver has not been disclosed.
No car model is inherently douchey, but it’s become increasingly tricky for the Toyota Fortuner to shake off that reputation due to entitled and violent drivers.
