Two groups of citizens from Kota Bambu, Palmerah, West Jakarta got into a brawl early this morning. Three people were critically injured after the brawl.
According to Vivanews, citizens of North Bambu and South Bambu got into a brawl using stones, glass bottles, sharp objects, and Molotov cocktails as weapons.
The police came to break up the brawl and had to resort to shooting tear gas at the fighting crowd before they finally dispersed.
The cause of the brawl is still unknown.
The three critically injured brawlers were brought to the nearest hospital for treatment. The police are, as of this morning, standing by in the area to prevent another brawl from breaking out.
