Coordinating Human Development and Culture Minister Puan Maharani assured victims of yesterday’s terrorist attacks on Thamrin, Central Jakarta, that they would be given the best medical care for their injuries.
She also assured the victims that they would not have to worry about medical fees.
“All of the victims will receive good treatment handled by competent doctors. As for medical expenses and such, the government will take care of it until [the victims] return home,” Puan said during a visit to see some victims at RSPAD Gatot Subroto, as quoted by Okezone yesterday.
According to the Jakarta Metro Police, the latest casualty count stands at 24 injured and 7 deceased. Five of the dead victims are believed to be among the perpetrators of the attack.
