Yay, time to start making travel plans for next year!
As reported by Warta Kota, the government just announced the official schedule for holidays and cuti bersama (collective leave days) for 2016, issued as a joint decree from the Ministries of Labor, Religion and Reform.
Next year will see the same number of official holidays and leave days as 2015, with 15 national holidays and 4 cuti bersama days.

May 1 – International Labor Day
May 5 – Ascension of Jesus Christ
May 6 – Isra Miraj (Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad)

July 6-7 – Idul Fitri
July 4-5, 8 – Cuti bersama
August 17 – Independence Day
September 12- Idul Adha
October 2 – Islamic New Year
December 12 – Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday
December 25 – Christmas Day
