Is Nasrudin as badass as Jason Statham? More, actually. Stathem never took a bullet in real life and kept on driving.
Nasrudin, an employee of a gas station located in Cibinong, Bogor, was given a simple task yesterday afternoon: Drive to the bank and deposit some of his business’ money.
But the simple task turned into a scene from an action movie when six armed robbers on three motorcycles intercepted him on the road and tried to take the Rp 260 million he was carrying. The robbers fired upon the car, breaking the rear window and hitting Nasruddin in the chest. But even after getting shot in the chest, Nasruddin kept driving.
The gas station employee described what happened next to Tribunnews from his bed in Cibinong Hospital: “While holding the gun shot wound on my left chest, I kept driving to save money. If I stopped, the robbers would have take the money from the car.”
Nasrudin said he desperately raced to seek help while the three robbers continued their pursuing. Fortunately, he happened upon a police checkpoint on Jl Sukahati.
The robbers immediately fled when they saw the police while Nasrudin was taken to Cibinong Hospital. Somehow the robbers all managed to get away, but police say they’re hunting them down now.
We’re pretty sure that if we had been in Nasrudin’s situation, we would have immediately stopped the car and handed over the money. He may just be the bravest gas station employee ever. We hope his bosses give him a big chunk of that money as a reward.
