Our glorious new “counter governor” (ie the guy hardline group FPI picked to lead their fantasy make-believe government) Fachrurozi Ishaq, has been busy. Not going on blusukan (which he promised he would do yesterday, but didn’t), nor doing any actual work. But he has been busy not paying his community taxes (iuran warga).
The head of Fachrurozi’s neighborhood council in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Abdul Mufti, said the counter governor was quite delinquent in his payments of his community taxes.
“It has been more than six months since Pak Fachrurozi has paid his community taxes,” Abdul said at his house on Tuesday, as quoted by Tempo.
According to Abdul, one of the reasons Fachrurozi is so behind in his payments is that neighborhood treasurer has a hard time finding him at home, and when he is home he often holds religious activities that can’t be disturbed.
Abdul also said Fachrurozi was not very active in community activities, probably because he was so busy teaching people about religion.
Fachrurozi did not answer Tempo when they asked him to confirm his nonpayment of his community taxes.
