The Indonesian Foreign Ministry confirmed that three Indonesians were injured during yesterday’s tragic attack on the Belgian capital Brussels.
“[They were] injured victims, one woman and her two children. They are now being treated at a hospital in Belgium,” said Deputy Foreign Minister A.M Fachir, as quoted by Tempo today.
Fachir added that the victims were at the Brussels international airport as they were scheduled to fly back to Indonesia yesterday.
According to Belgian officials, more than 30 people died and more than 200 were injured after two explosions in Brussel’s international airport and one blast in a metro station.
Terror group ISIS has since claimed the attacks. Belgian authorities are currently conducting a manhunt on one of the bombing suspects.
