The official Jakarta Metro Traffic Police Twitter account reported that at about 9:18 this morning, firefighters were battling a blaze centralized in the basement of the Pullman Hotel, which is attached to the Central Park shopping center in West Jakarta.

Sindonews is reporting that a manager at the hotel said that the fire may have been caused by a malfunctioning heater. Eleven fire engines came to extinguish the fire, which they managed to put out in less than an hour.
