Some people will do anything to be beautiful – including getting beauty treatments from an unlicensed doctor in a mall bathroom, apparently.
Police arrested a woman, whom they are identifying as JS, who was allegedly pretending to be a “beauty doctor.” She was caught while treating a patient in a toilet stall located inside the Plaza Semanggi shopping center.
“She was caught while practicing in the mall toilet. The suspect does not have a license, she is just a high school graduate who pretended to be a beauty specialist,” South Jakarta Police Chief Wahyu Hadiningrat told Kompas today.
Police tracked down JS after they received reports from some of her patients that they had suffered as a result of her treatments. And we’re not talking about a bad makeover. JS’s supposed victims say they suffered from organs damage due to drugs that she gave them.
“Five of the victims are still being treated at hospitals in Jakarta. They require treatment for damaged livers, kidneys, and hepatitis,” Wahyu said.
Police say JS had a number of medical devices and medicines on her when she was arrested. Hopefully the evidence will keep this ugly liar off the streets for a while.
