A day in the life of a Kopassus soldier
If there’s anyone you definitely shouldn’t mess with in Indonesia, it’s the Kopassus Special Forces soldiers.
Two muggers on a motorcycle found that out the hard way when they tried to snatch a purse belonging to Daisy Yuliani Siregar in Jati Rahayu, Bekasi, on Wednesday.
Luckily for Daisy, two Kopassus soldiers, Bagus Eko and Ali, just happened to be driving by as the mugging was taking place.
“The victim screamed and tried to run after the perp,” wrote the Public Relations Agency of the Indonesian Army in a press release, as picked up by Vivanews today.
The two Kopassus super soldiers then got out of their car and ran after the perps. They managed to catch up to the muggers (who were on a motorcycle, lest you forget) and took them down.
The muggers, 19-year-olds Ryan Maulana and Rizal, were then reported and taken to the Pondok Gede Police station.
