Evicted from her home, woman builds 2-meter high wall that blocks a road as payback

Dede Rusdiah, a resident of Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, was recently evicted by the government from her house on Jalan Anggrek. The Satpol PP police unit also tore down her allegedly illegally built house.

So Dede fought back by illegally building a wall.

Unfortunately for motorists, Dede’s wall is 2 meters high and stretches across the 15 meter wide Jalan Anggrek.

Dede must be feared in her community, because no one has dared to complain about her wall, let alone tear it down.

“I usually take this road to avoid the macet on Jalan RE Martadinata. After the tearing down [of illegal buildings], I thought the road was going to be wider, but now it’s blocked,” said Fajar, a motorcyclist who was forced to take a detour, as quoted by Kompas yesterday.

We wonder what she’ll build next if the government decides to tear down her wall.
