An Indonesian man has quickly gain viral infamy for starring in what might be the mother of all road rage videos. The clip shows him not only reacting angrily to getting ticketed by the police, but also dismantling his motorcycle piece by piece in rage.

The video, which has gone hugely viral in Indonesia since first hitting social media this morning, is about one-minute long and shows the man throwing an enormous tantrum in front of a cop and a woman who appears to be his girlfriend, flipping his motorcycle and tearing parts off of it until it is stripped down to its main frame. Throughout the man’s meltdown, the cop somehow manages to keep his cool while writing a ticket.

As reported by Kompas, the incident was later confirmed to have taken place at around 6:30 am in Serpong, South Tangerang. Police identified the man as Adi Saputra, who was stopped by a traffic police officer named Oky for not wearing a helmet — among other violations.

“He drove against the traffic flow, probably to avoid the officer. Then, the officer pulled him over, apparently he didn’t have a SIM (driver’s license), STNK (vehicle registration), and he claimed he forgot to bring his ID. He was angry when he found out he got ticketed,” South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit Head Lalu Hedwin told Detik today.

Police took the dismantled motorcycle to the South Tangerang Police Station as evidence. It’s been reported that the motorcycle wasn’t actually Adi’s, but his girlfriend’s.

It’s not yet known if, aside from fines for the numerous traffic violations, Ady will be face additional criminal charges or if he might be arrested for his tantrum. What is sure is that his viral meltdown has already been made into a meme, as illustrated by this hilarious video showing what his tantrum would look like in reverse.

“Engineering school student assembling spare parts to be a motorcycle. Cool!”

While Adi’s ticket tantrum is one of the worst we’ve ever seen, he’s far from the only Indonesian to fly into an uncontrollable rage after getting written up by a traffic cop (perhaps because they’re so used to being able to bribe their way out of such incidents). Past viral videos have shown women attacking and even biting officers who tried to ticket them for their traffic violations.
