Illegal male enhancement pills confiscated by the police last month.
A 62-year-old Singaporean tourist, Ong Eu Dhee, passed away in Wisma Indonesia Hotel in Cilincing, North Jakarta this morning. He died after having sexual intercourse with his date, Siti Nurmasitoh.
According to the police, Ong Eu Dhee arrived in Jakarta and stayed at the hotel last Friday evening. He contacted Siti, whom he met a year ago in Batam, to keep him company last night.
The pair had sexual intercourse in the victim’s hotel room. When Siti went to have a shower afterwards, she heard a thump coming from the room.
“Siti heard something fall. She got out of the bathroom and screamed hysterically when she saw the victim was lying face down on the floor, right next to the bed,” said Andri Suharto, head of the Crime Investigation Unit at the Cilincing Police Dept, as quoted by Warta Kota today.
The police, after investigating the scene, determined that there were no signs of foul play and Siti wasn’t implicated in Ong Eu Dhee’s death.
But they may have figured out what killed the victim.
“We strongly suspect the victim died after consuming too many ‘obat kuat’ (male enhancement pills). We found several pills in the room,” Andri said.
The police did not reveal if the victim consumed legitimate, clinically proven male enhancement pills, or if he bought dangerous knockoffs available in many blue pill stores in the city.
