The Jakarta branch of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) did a drug raid on the ‘Old City’ nightclub located on Jl Kali Besar in Kota Tua, West Jakarta, on Saturday night. Police say they secured a number of drug users and seized a variety of drugs and even an airsoft gun.
Officers forced 75 of the club goers to undergo on-site drug testing. Out of those, over half tested positive for drug use.
“As many as 38 visitors to the discotheque tested positive for drugs. There was a man with negative urine results, but he was found near a bong,” Jakarta BNN officer Sapari told Okezone.
In total, the agency says they seized 109 tablets of ecstasy with the Superman logo printed on them, a package of marijuana three bongs and an airsoft gun.
