Drug dealer gets caught hiding meth in candy wrappers

The suspect supposedly hid his meth in Kopiko and Mintz candy wrappers

A 22-year-old, identified by his initials DD, was arrested by police on Friday while carrying methamphetamine packaged in candy wrappers.

“DD we caught while carrying 20 grams of methamphetamines in 20 Kopiko and Mintz candy wrappers,” said Central Jakarta Police Public Relations officer Suyanto on Sunday as quoted by Tribunnews.

Suyatno said officers also confiscated other evidence including the mobile phone he used to operate his business as well as a portable electronic scales.

Police say they searched DD after he was caught in the middle of a transaction in Johar Baru, Central Jakarta. Police are still investigating the case and the offender’s meth and urine have been sent to the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) for testing.
