Meth makes people do horrible things
She’s not exactly Walter White, but a mother in East Jakarta may be more irresponsible than fictional meth whiz from the hit TV show “Breaking Bad.” After all, White never got his kid involved in the drug game, whereas the bad mother in question got her own daughter into the methamphetamine game.
Yeti Ruhiati instructed her daughter, 25-year-old Elsyn Rusli Hanafi, to deliver meth to her customers. The West Jakarta Police arrested Elsyn during a delivery on Jalan Pisangan, East Jakarta.
“When she was arrested, Elsyn admitted to delivering the meth as instructed by her mother, who wasn’t feeling well,” said Gembong Yudha, head of the Narcotics Division at the West Jakarta Police today, as quoted by Merdeka.
The police then went to Yeti’s house in Matraman, East Jakarta. But the police did not find any drugs after searching the house.
“Officers only found drug money amounting to Rp 6.6 million,” Gembong said.
The mother and daughter are in police custody for interrogation. After all, the 2.97 grams of meth on Elsyn as she made the delivery is evidence enough for drug possession at least.
