Cute or Freaky? Precocious third-grader pens beautifully poetic love letter

Love has no age limit, but when a third-grader gets this mushy in the name of romance, we can’t help but be a little worried.

Recently, photos of a love letter allegedly written by an Indonesian third-grader have gone viral as netizens marveled at the poetic prowess the boy possessed.

The letter was supposedly uploaded by the boy’s teacher, who wanted to make an example out of the student as children that young shouldn’t be that invested in romance.

We can’t make out everything written in the letter, but here are some translated lines the boy used to woo the girl of his dreams:

“Butterflies land on flowers. If you want to be a butterfly, please land on my heart.”

“You know the difference between water and me? Water flows in the river, whereas I flow in your heart.”

Did that make you want to go “awww”? Or did you puke a little like we did?

Hey, at the very least, the boy is keeping old traditions alive in this dull smartphone age.
