A Suzuki Carry was crushed when two steel beams measuring 3 meters long fell on it from the Soho Pancoran construction site in Tebet Barat Dalam, South Jakarta yesterday morning.
Luckily, there was no one inside the parked car.
“I was just sitting when the huge steel beams fell on the Carry. I was shocked,” said witness Joko, as quoted by Vivanews yesterday.
“There was a couple who walked past nearby, but thankfully they weren’t squished. [The steel beams] only fell on the car.
Soho Pancoran is planned to be two adjoining towers consisting of upscale apartments, offices, and a shopping mall. Its targeted for completion this year.
