What would you give up to get your hand on one of those shiny new iPhone XSs? A new motorcycle (or two)? Down payment on a house? All common sense?

Well, you might want to decide quickly if you’re a fanboy/girl who wants to be among the first to own the iPhone XS in Indonesia because, since yesterday, you can preorder one here right now. But be warned: the cost may be XS-sive to many.

Online retailer Blibli.com is first in line to offer the new iPhones in Indonesia, opening a preorder for the XS and its larger variant the XS Max (the relatively “cost-friendly” iPhone XR was not listed on the page).

Before you go on and beli beli, know that prices start at IDR19.9 million (US$1,345) for the 64GB iPhone XS after a 10% discount from its IDR22 million retail price.

The most expensive in the XS line is the 512GB XS Max, which costs a whopping IDR28.5 million after a mere 2% discount from its IDR28.9 million retail price.

The preorder and the small discounts promo are available until Sept. 30. The iPhones will be shipped to customers starting Oct. 3.

Seriously though, who in their right mind would spend nearly 30 juta on one phone? They haven’t even figured out how to get rid of the damn notch yet.

Disclaimer: The writer of this article is somewhat of an Apple fanboy himself, but believes that the last great iPhone is the 8, which he owns.
