It’s a dog eat dog world out there, and in this recent criminal case in Jakarta, that expression can almost be interpreted literally.
Angger Budi Susanto, a 35-year-old bus conductor, was competing with another bus conductor to get one passenger to board their respective buses on Jalan Mataram, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta last night.
“[The other bus conductor] couldn’t accept that the passenger chose the victim’s bus, so he and his 15 friends ganged up on him and stabbed him to death,” said Wawan, a witness to the brutal crime, as quoted by Vivanews today.
The Kebayoran Police Dept. is conducting a manhunt for the other bus conductor and his accomplices. The victim’s body was taken to the Fatmawati Hospital for an autopsy.
