A banner supporting Boy Sadikin to become Jakarta vice governor unfurled in front of the Jakarta City Council

Now that Acting Governor of Jakarta Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama will be promoted to governor, people are naturally excited about who will become vice governor. It seems the unofficial political campaigns have begun.
 
According to Kompas.com, a banner that shows support for PDI-P politician Boy Sadikin to become vice governor was put up in front of the Jakarta City Council.
 
The banner reads, “Full support for Ahok – H Boy Sadikin as Governor and Vice Governor of Jakarta for the 2012-2017 period. No compromise.” There were no clues as to who put up the banner.
 
Aside from photographs of Ahok and Boy, there were also photos of Boy’s father and former Jakarta Governor Ali Sadikin, former President Megawati Soekarnoputri, and former President Soekarno on the banner.
 
The PDI-P party has not nominated a candidate to become vice governor of Jakarta. Aside from Boy, former Blitar Mayor Djarot Saiful Hidayat and former Surabaya mayor Bambang DH were said to be among the front-runners from PDI-P.
 
Gerindra, the other party with the right to nominate a vice governor candidate, has also not revealed their candidates.
