The KRL Commuterline gets very, very hectic during rush hour, so it’s very reasonable to expect some people to forget their belongings amidst all the chaos.
One man, identified by his initials PP, was clearly not too pleased when he dropped a bunch of documents at Tebet Station as he was hurriedly trying to jam his way into the KRL Commuterline train going towards Manggarai Station yesterday afternoon.
When he got off at Manggarai, PP took out his frustration by seeking out an unnamed random KRL Commuterline officer – who had nothing to do with his misfortune – and punched her in the face.
“The suspect deliberately got off from the KRL and went up to our officer, and then he suddenly hit her,” said PT KRL Commuterline Jabodetabek (KCJ) Spokeswoman Eva Chairunisa, as quoted by Kompas yesterday.
The female officer received a bruise under her eye.
Security guards at the station quickly rounded up the asshole with anger issues and took him to the Tebet Police Precinct. It’s unclear what charges PP will face for the assault.
