The capital’s bus company TransJakarta has relaunched its 24-hour service after the pandemic put the brakes on its late night/early morning rides.

Starting today, TransJakarta’s Angkutan Malam Hari (Evening Transportation) service, which is shortened to Amari, is available to transport passengers on corridors M1 to M13 from 10pm to 5am. The regular 5am to 10pm service remains unchanged.

You can see maps of the 13 corridors for Amari in the thread below:

In a statement, TransJakarta said the Amari service may help to reduce the public’s dependence on private vehicles, especially after the government recently raised fuel prices.

The city-owned company also urged Amari passengers to be especially vigilant when traveling during this period as there will be fewer staff on duty.

During the Enforcement of Restrictions on Public Activities (PPKM) protocol, TransJakarta only ran its Amari service from 10pm to midnight.
