It’s the band’s first time in Indonesia as part of their most ambitious tour yet.
Their latest album ‘I See You’ debuted in January of last year at #1 on the British charts. Capitalising on that success, they quickly hit the road, visiting 28 countries last year – and they’re not finished yet.

The London-born band has shows throughout Asia before they return to Europe for the summer festival circuit.
Fans can expect the trio’s signature echoing bass and soft guitar riffs to be accompanied by a moody light show and set to match.

It’s been almost a decade since the band’s debut self-titled album was released to the world in 2009. They followed this up with 2012’s ‘Coexist’, featuring what NME called a ‘heart-meltingly perfect’ lead single, ‘Angels’.
Since then, member Jamie Smith has found plenty of success on the side as DJ and electronic artist ‘Jamie xx’. As well as a recording a solo album and doing his part in The xx too, he has managed to work on tracks big names like for Drake, Radiohead and Alicia Keys.
Catch The xx at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) centre, Kemayoran, on January 23. Tickets are still available from IDR 299.000 and are on-sale here. If you can’t wait til then, you can stream ‘I See You’ on Spotify:
