WTF 2023: The Strokes, The 1975, The Kid Laroi to headline Jakarta festival

Last Nite, we dreamed of seeing Julian Casablancas and pals up close and personal, and that dream is coming true for us in Jakarta as The Strokes, along with other major acts, have been confirmed for We The Fest 2023.

WTF, the capital’s beloved summer music festival, is returning for its eighth offline edition from July 21 to 23. As detailed in a press release sent to Coconuts today, the festival has announced the first phase of its lineup, with the headline acts so far being The Strokes, The 1975, The Kid Laroi, and Lewis Capaldi.

The 1975 notably played in Jakarta for the 2016 edition of We The Fest.

Other big names include Sabrina Carpenter, NxWorries (Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge), as well as local legends Project Pop and Gigi.

The festival’s organizers, Ismaya Live, said more exciting names will be announced in the near future.

Tickets will go on sale soon, and you can stay tuned for updates through the festival’s Twitter account or its official website.

The venue for WTF 2023 has not been announced yet. Past venues include Parkir Timur Senayan and JIExpo Kemayoran.
