Good news for wrestling fans: select WWE Network programs will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar in Indonesia, including live broadcasts of WWE’s premium shows.
The cooperation between the Walt Disney Company and WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) was announced on Wednesday.
Disney+ Hotstar is set to be the destination for all WWE premium live broadcasts, including WrestleMania, as well as on-demand access to documentaries, reality shows, and additional archive content from the WWE Network. The broadcast will commence with Royal Rumble, which will be streamed this Sunday.
“The partnership with Disney+ Hotstar allows us to bring WWE Network contents, including WrestleMania, to a best-in-class platform to our existing fans in Indonesia, while introducing WWE to the new audience in this region as Disney+ continues to expand its reach internationally,” WWE president Nick Khan said in a statement.
Selected WWE Network content and all live broadcasts of WWE premium programs will be available on Disney+ Hotstar as part of a standard subscription at no additional cost. Additionally, premium program live broadcasts will be in Indonesian and English.
Subscriptions for Disney+ in Indonesia are priced at IDR39K (US$2.71) monthly or IDR199K (US$13.85) annually.
