On November 8, 2014 22-year-old Mariam Batsashvili from Georgia won First Prize at the 10th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht, The Netherlands, one of the most prestigious competitions in all of classical music. As the winner of the competition Batsashvili is embark on an extensive concert tour taking her to more than twenty countries. And her next stop is at Jakarta’s Dutch cultural center, Erasmus Huis. Definitely one to watch for fans of classical piano aficionados.
