You may be one of the many adolescents of the noughties in Indonesia who were disappointed after missing out on tickets to Westlife’s concert in Jakarta in August, which sold out in just two hours when they went on sale yesterday.

Well, there is still faint hope yet for an additional show.

In a statement released today, concert promoter Full Color Entertainment apologized to fans who didn’t get a ticket but pledged to try to keep their dreams of seeing the middle-aged Irish quartet alive.

“We, as the promoter, are in the discussion stage with Westlife’s management to hold an additional show in Indonesia, if possible, to please the fans,” Full Color Entertainment Managing Director David Ananda said in the statement, as picked up by Kompas, without elaborating further.

Westlife’s Jakarta concert is scheduled for August 7 at ICE BSD City. All tickets for that show, ranging from IDR990K to IDR2.5 million (US$69.50-175.50), have been sold.

The Twenty Tour will be Westlife’s first tour after their seven-year hiatus, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their career. The four remaining members of Westlife (AKA your first teenage crush), Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily, and Kian Egan, will also be hitting Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, KL, and Singapore starting as part of their latest world tour, which will kick off in Belfast, Northern Ireland in May.
