Westlife announces 20th anniversary tour with a stop in Jakarta on August 7

Adolescents of the noughties, rejoice! Your first celebrity crush AKA Westlife will be flying (without wings) to Jakarta on August 7 at ICE BSD. The Irish quartet will also be hitting Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, KL, and Singapore starting as part of their latest world tour, which will kick off in Belfast, Northern Ireland in May.

 

Titled The Twenty Tour, this will be Westlife’s first tour after their seven-year hiatus, as announced in a press release picked up by Antara today. The Jakarta concert will be organized by Full Color Entertainment. 

The four remaining members of Westlife — Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily, and Kian Egan — are likely going to will perform their hits (aka your go-to karaoke songs) such as Swear It Again, If I Let You Go, Flying Without Wings, Fool Again, My Love, to their latest single Hello My Love, which was released in October of last year.

If your undying devotion to Westlife means attending this show is a must, you’ll have to wait for further information on ticketing. Tickets will go on sale at noon on March 28 and will be available through online purchase via Tiket.com or you can buy them directly from Full Color Entertainment at Taman Anggrek Mall, West Jakarta and all Indomaret stores. At the time of writing, no information on ticket prices has been released by the promoter.
