Things are a little quiet this weekend as it seems everbody is still recovering from Halloween, but we still tracked down a few awesome pestas for your partying pleasure.

“Uber Damage Comedy” at The Safehouse
Post-Halloween blues got you down? Well put on a funny wig and forget about them, because tonight marks the long-awaited return of the crazy hip costume party that is Uber Damage. This is definitely where all the cool kids will be hanging out tonite, but don’t feel intimidated because lots of them will be wearing Three Stooges outfits and water-squirting flowers (in keeping with the comedy theme). Best costume wins a prize from Dr. Martens! Crowd control courtesy of a motley collection including Bima G, Viva Los Amigos and Robot Smith (doing a 1-hour The Cure set).

“The Cat Empire” at Foundry 8
Since forming in 1999 in Melbourne, Australia, The Cat Empire has amassed a legion of fans for their heady, high-energy fusion of jazz, ska, funk and rock with heavy Latin influences.
None other than Maliq & D’Essentials will be opening for this groovy group of Ozzies before they take the stage at Foundry 8’s Level II.

“De La House Vol 7 featuring Van She” at Parc19
The De La House parties are almost always a good bet for lovers of New Disco, but Van She should really make this edition pop. The electropop band from Australia, known for injecting elements of nu gaze and neo-psychedelia into their indie pop confections, will be doing a DJ set and live PA.
