It’s Friday afternoon, which means you can start forgetting about work and start focusing on something much more important – how you’re going to party this weekend. There’s quite a few options, from the glam and glitz of Dragonfly reopening and an exhibition opening at Artotel to the pulse-pounding return of D&B master LTJ Bukem and cocktail crafsmanship extraordinaire at Potato Head. Have a great weekend!

Dragonfly Reborn feat Ftampa

Dragonfly was once considered one of Jakarta’s trendiest and ritziest nightclubs. But after 8 years near the top and a lot of new competition, its luster began to lack. Which is why owner Ismaya decided to shut down the club for renovations several month back in the hopes of recapturing the magic.
Tonight is the first night we’ll get to see if it was all worth it as Dragonfly reopens with young Brazilian DJ Ftampa getting the reopening night honors. The club is definitely going to be packed with the rich and pretty people tonight, but try to get on the guestlist because FDC for tonight is a hefty Rp 250k.
Starts 9pm. FDC 250k. Dragonfly, Jl. Jend Gatot Subroto Kav. 23, Karet, Semanggi, Setiabudi. +62 21 5202913
Plastic Art exhibition plus Afterparty
at Artotel

Get some culture while getting your party on by heading over to Artotel this evening, where you’ll be able to check out the very cool looking “Plastic Art Exhibition,” featuring pieces from 25 hot young artists, in the lobby of the art-centric hotel. The opening tonight will feature a special performance by masters of melody Payung Teduh
Afterwards, you can head up to BART (Bar at the Arthotel RoofTop) to enjoy the afterparty with tunes by the venerable DJ Cream as well as Archie and Mad Bros!
Exhibition opening starts at 7:30 pm. Artotel, Jalan Sunda No.3, Jakarta Thamrin. +62 21 31925888.

London Cocktail Club
at Potato Head
